WHO IS THIS JESUS?

Who is this Jesus? 
Who is this Jesus?
He is the second of the Triune God, God the Son.
He is the Word of God who became flesh.
He is the One who was there at the beginning.
He is the Word who was With God and the Word was God.

Who is this Jesus?
He was born of a virgin, fathered by a Carpenter
He is the  Son of the living God- fully human and fully divine.
He is full of wisdom and knowledge even from a tender age.
He is the Rabbi  who taught with authority.


Who is this Jesus?
"He was anointed to proclaim good news to the poor.
He was sent to proclaim freedom to the prisoners,
And for the recovery of sight for the blind.
And to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord"

Who is this Jesus?
He was compassionate and kind
He was gentle but brave - he fed the five thousand.
He drove money changers from the temple.
He called the Pharisees brood of vipers.

Who is this Jesus?
He was baptised by His cousin John the Baptist.
He was tempted by the devil.
He was betrayed by Judas.
He was crucified by the Jews.

Who is this Jesus?
He is the bread of life; the Light of the world.
He is the door of the sheep; the good Shepherd.
He is the resurrection and the true vine.
He is the way, the truth and the life.

Who is this Jesus?
He is the One who loved me before the beginning of time.
He is the One who loved me while I was yet a sinner.
He is the One who paid for my sins a debt I could not pay.
He is the One who has given me victory over sin and all the schemes of the devil.

Who is this Jesus?
He is the One who left me with a Helper - the Holy Spirit.
He is the One who has shared His inheritance with me.
He is the One who has invited me to sit with Him in heavenly places.
He is the One whose love for me will never end.
