PASTOR & AMAI NYADZO

Pastor Silas Thomas Nyadzo

He was born to Christian parents who were Deacons in the AFM in Zimbabwe. He is married to Sipiwe Nyadzo, and they have 6 adult children and 6 grandchildren.

Pastor and Mrs Nyadzo both did their Theological training at Mattersey Hall Christian Bible College under the Assemblies of God GB. After their first degrees in Biblical Studies and Theology with University of Chester, Pst Nyadzo proceeded to a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. He has a keen interest in academic research and is awaiting enrolling for a PhD programme. He has published one journal article which he co-authored with Dr Nomatter Sande, a fellow Pastor in the AFMIM UK based at Coventry.

Pastor Nyadzo has always had a passion for missionary work based on the accounts of the Apostles in the New Testament book of Acts. He has been fascinated by whether it was possible to replicate the accounts of the Apostles: for example, Philip being directed to the Ethiopian eunuch, and Peter being directed to Cornelius. After attending a Discipleship-making conference at Keystone Project, South Dakota, USA, Pastor Nyadzo resolved to refocus the Assembly he was leading into an Spirit-led Apostolic Centre concerned with taking the Gospel to the nations under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Church on Mission is the product of such efforts.
